The venerable British design house of Austin Reed had a unique goal: teach gentlemen about the fine points of tailoring (and explain why Austin Reed garments cost hundreds of dollars more than other suits on the rack). Across the pond, The Mall at Short Hills asked me to shine the spotlight on John Varvatos and Ralph Lauren, two icons of sartorial success. A bit further west, the folks at Sundance Catalog turned to me to distill the ethos of Sundance founder, Robert Redford, a Hollywood legend very much at home under the Utah sky.
